Fifth edition of Formnext Forum Tokyo 2024 ends with positive feedback on show’s business potential

Across two full days of trade and innovation exchange, 1,103 visitors attended Formnext Forum Tokyo 2024 where 56 exhibitors showcased up-to-date technologies and materials dedicated to industrial additive manufacturing (AM). The forum took place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN from 26 – 27 September. As Japan’s leading AM trade event, it provides an essential platform for the industry, offering networking opportunities and interactive experiences for exhibitors and visitors alike.

Formnext Forum Tokyo 2024: specialised AM event opens doors to new technology on 26 September

In less than one month, key additive manufacturing (AM) players will gather for the forum’s fifth edition, held 26 – 27 September at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. 52 exhibitors from four countries, namely China, France, Japan and Korea, have confirmed participation in this year’s event. As a business platform for the latest information on the next generation of additive manufacturing, the event aims to further revitalise the industry by providing opportunities for exhibitors and visitors to connect. As well as giving direct access to new products and technologies on the show floor. The event’s seminars will give visitors necessary insights to make informed business decisions – with topics ranging from 3D printing in the construction industry to market insights from Japan and China.

Formnext Forum Tokyo confirms September return; exhibitor applications now open

With a combined exhibition and seminar format, the event specialising in additive manufacturing (AM) technology and related products and services, will take place from 26 – 27 September 2024 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. Known as a sister event of Formnext in Germany, the Tokyo event features a range of topical seminars and showcases covering a variety of AM products and services along with the next generation of intelligent industrial production solutions. Now in its 4th edition, the annual event will provide exhibitors, visitors and conference attendees with the latest industry knowledge and offer ample business and networking opportunities.

Formnext Forum Tokyo 2023 concludes with strong exhibitor-visitor engagement

Attracting the national Additive Manufacturing (AM) community and global participants including the intelligent industrial production sector, Formnext Forum Tokyo 2023 closed doors on another successful edition. Held from 28 – 29 September at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN, this year’s show saw a steady increase in participation, with 67 exhibitors showcasing their innovations to 1,185 visitors. In a constantly evolving industry, the annual event provides key players with a platform to explore the most up-to-date information and technology in Japan.

Formnext Forum Tokyo unveils educational agenda as exhibitor numbers rise

The sister event of the internationally-renowned Formnext in Frankfurt, opens its doors from 28 – 29 September 2023 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. Headlined this year by topics such as ultra-fast 3D metal printing, the event consists of seminars and an exhibition focusing on additive manufacturing (AM) technology and the related process chain(s).. As of the end of August, 67 exhibitors (2022: 65) including 19 first-time participants, have already confirmed their attendance. Following the easing of pandemic restrictions, visitor numbers are also expected rise to 1,500 (up from 1,180 in 2022), as the event continues to serve as a leading platform in Japan.

Exhibitor registration opens for Formnext Forum Tokyo 2023

Tokyo is ready to welcome specialists from across the additive manufacturing (AM) industry later this year at Japan’s most focused event for the sector, which will be held from 28 – 29 September at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. The 2022 edition hosted 65 exhibitors, and 1,180 visitors – a 40% increase from the previous edition. On the back of this rise, Messe Frankfurt Japan is optimistic about another productive event this year.

Formnext Forum Tokyo 2022 closes after a successful event, driving the next generation of manufacturing

After a two year break caused by the pandemic, strong results were recorded as 1,175 visitors turned out at this year’s Formnext Forum Tokyo. For comparision, that’s a 40% increase over the previous event, signaling renewed impetus for the additive manufactufring (AM) industry in Japan. The two-day event was held from 27 – 28 September at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN.

Leading experts in additive manufacturing and 3D printing are ready for next month’s Formnext Forum Tokyo

The clock is ticking down until the start of Formnext Forum Tokyo, with less than one month remaining before it opens its doors from 27 – 28 September 2022 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. As a leading business platform for additive manufacturing (AM) technology, the event combines product showcases with special seminars covering AM technology across various Japanese user industries. Gradually expanding in scale since its launch in 2019, the previous edition welcomed 29 exhibitors and 710 visitors, and this upward development will continue in 2022, with 65 exhibitors taking part alongside a combination of onsite and online seminars before and after the event.

Formnext Forum Tokyo goes hybrid with new online event services

With travel restrictions due to COVID-19 still persisting around the world, Formnext Forum Tokyo will be held as a hybrid event in 2022. The new format will consist of three-stages; an online pre-event seminar, the physical event, and an online post-event seminar. In addition, the physical event will see the introduction of flexible participation options in the shape of a digital exhibitor package. This will give exhibitors the option to participate online with table-top exhibits and onsite assistance. Formnext Forum Tokyo in this way takes a hybrid approach to encourage more opportunities for business interaction.

Formnext Forum Tokyo postponed to 2022

As the largest outbreak of Covid-19 to date continues to affect Japan, the public health outlook for the foreseeable future remains uncertain. Taking the current situation seriously, Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd has made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Formnext Forum Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 28 – 29 September 2021 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, Hamamatsucho Hall, the event will be held in a new time slot of October 2022 at the same venue.

Formnext Forum Tokyo signals a bright future for physical events post COVID-19

From 24 – 25 September, Formnext Forum Tokyo wrapped up two successful days of business, confirming that in-person business meetings remain highly valued by the Japanese additive manufacturing (AM) community. Although the COVID-19 pandemic dashed hopes for a full fair, the event still gathered an impressive 710 visitors at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, Hamamatsucho Hall.

Less than a month remains before Formnext Forum Tokyo opens its doors from 24 – 25 September 2020 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, Hamamatsucho Hall. Formnext Forum Tokyo is gearing up for its opening from 24 – 25 September 2020 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center, Hamamatsucho Hall.
